Harbor View Manor’s studio and one-bedroom apartments are spacious and are equipped with the following features:

• The Ben B. Cheney recreation room is a multi-purpose space where residents can view movies on a wide-screen TV or enjoy weekly board games, billiards and ping pong, as well as holiday events and parties. 

• ADA assesible elevators

• A library that boasts of an extensive selection of books and magazines, CDs and DVDs

• Computers for resident use with free Internet service

• A beauty salon with a licensed professional hair stylist

• Mini mart staffed by residents and volunteers open Monday through Saturday

• Different transportation options available to resident - four Pierce County bus stops are about a block away from the property: The #1 bus route connects with Tacoma CC, #2 to Lakewood east, #3 Lakewood west, #26 downtown loop. Also,  the 9th and Broadway Sound Transit Railway stop is two miles away. The Sound Transit railway connects major regional job and housing centers in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties.

The Harbor View Manor Dining Room

Dinner is served (on weekdays and holidays) restaurant-style in this glass-sided dining room with awe-inspiring views of Mt. Ranier and the Cascade Mountains. The homemade meals are prepared and table served by Harbor View Manor staff.

• Weekday dinners consist of soup, salad, an entrée, side vegetables, bread, drinks, dessert and fresh fruit

• On holidays, old fashioned dinners like fried chicken and roast beef with full salad bar and home made pie are served

**The cost of the meals are designed to be very affordable to Harbor View Manor residents. Each meal’s cost is dependent on the day’s menu options.
